Oooh la la! Have you been dreaming of a Paris Wedding?????

When I think romantic cities, I think Paris!  Have you been dreaming of tying the knot in Paris?  Or, maybe you just want to incorporate some French touches into your wedding?  Read on for all the inspiration you’ll need to pull it off!

Kimberly Petyt has one of those amazing dream jobs…she’s an American wedding planner who coordinates Parisian weddings for couples across the globe!  Her first book, The Paris Wedding, just hit the shelves and its a beauty. Check out some scrumptious eye candy from the weddings she’s coordinated in The City of Light.

It doesn’t get more scenic than a bridal party shot in front of the Eiffel Tower:

If that’s too tame, why not incorporate a merry go round AND the Eiffel Tower into your pics?  Love this one:

Since there are quite a few hoops to jump through for an actual wedding in Paris (think residency requirements, red tape and rules – no, you cannot tie the knot on top of the Eiffel Tower), you may want to head there for an elopement or engagement photo shoot (stay tuned for the most romantic photo op spots).  Or, why not incorporate a little oooh, la, la into your own wedding with some of these French touches?

The French love their food, especially when it comes time for dessert.  These beautiful Ladurée macaron towers are as yummy as they look and will also make a gorgeous backdrop:

Or perhaps you’d like to serve a Croquembouche, a traditional French wedding cake, for dessert:

Or maybe you want to send your guests off with a little whiff of Paris with a favor filled with lavender sugar.  Turn to page 78 to find out how to DIY these goodies:

The book features actual weddings, interviews with top Parisian wedding experts and much more!  You can also follow Kim’s blog Parisian Party and Facebook Page for more French inspired goodness.

Au revoir…
